The Rectors Last Sunday at St Andrew's Church, May 4th.

Members of the congregations of All Saints Wretton, Christ Church Whittington and St Andrew's Church Northwold, joined together for Nigel's last Holy Communion at St Andrew's before he, Viv and Nell move to their new home and Nigel's new post.
The Church was full, and after the service, there was a glass of wine and light refreshment as we took the opportunity to say our farewells.

On behalf of us all Dr J. Norris presented Nigel with a cheque for 450 with which to buy vestments, and some gold earrings! Viv was given a basket of flowers.
We wish Nigel and his family every happiness in their new life, and have appreciated the enthusiasm, sincerity and sense of humour with which he has carried out his ministry during the six years he has been with us.
Details of church services during the interregnum are on the church notice board. We hope you will continue to support all three churches whilst we

are without a priest.

Well, we finally got a disco up and running for the under 18's. It was a poor show due to only 25 under 18's turning up on the night. The cost of the disco had to be funded by money made from raffle prizes, but all in all it was a good night.
We still have to hear from any ladies out there who would like to join our Ladies Darts team. We're not a bad bunch. At the moment we are coming to the end of our season; if I may say so, a very good one. The next matches start in September. Anyone wishing to join, call Mandy. And on that note we desperately need men or ladies to join the Men's darts team which has been going for 25 years and is about to come to a sad end unless we can get some more

volunteers.
Well we're celebrating 25 years of carnival this year and yet again we have the Strollers. We will also be having a Barbecue and raffle and hopefully "A good night had by all"

Mandy Allman.

Well yet again another poor turn out for the Social Club. We booked a brilliant duet called "Just Two". They have been before to the Club when we had the darts dinner and dance. Everyone sang their praises! What a shame they couldn't do the same this time. I felt sorry for the duet. It was embarrassing for them to sing for just a handful of people. It's funny when people can come to an A.G.M. and moan about the club but when there is entertainment on, which is only once a month, they can't show their faces and give support to the Club.

Thanks

Mr Mick Clifford and Family would like to thank all neighbours and friends for their support during their time of grief.
Many thanks to Mr Philip Bowers for an excellent funeral arrangement.
Also Mrs Helen McGuirk and Julian for their help at the Social Club.
