AUCTION OF PROMISES AND BRIC-A-BRAC

This enjoyable event raised about £445.

David Masters recently of Denver Sluice Complex and well known speaker will give an illustrated talk on Fenland Rivers Past and Present. £3.00, to include tea/coffee and sausage rolls.

Meeting to hear PCC report on building

works, review of community events and a chance to air your views on whether or how these events should continue. £3.00 to include wine and cheese or some light refreshment. Please come.

FENLAND RIVERS

An illustrated talk on the past and present scheme that provides the water management over the large area of fenland known as 'The South Level', will be given by former Superintendent of The Denver Complex, known to most as Denver Sluice.
David Masters who retired just two years ago, became well known for his lively guided tours of the elaborate system of waterways that are a feature of this part of the region.
The venue for this event will be Whittington Church on Saturday, 9^th March at 7.30pm.
Coffee and hot sausage rolls will be included in the admission charge of £3.00.
