What a Day!
From Roger Preston

It is no doubt a day to remember not only for myself but also for everybody linked with Northwold C of E Primary School.
The expectations for the Carnival were exceeded beyond anybody's idea.
With extra floats in the parade plus the inclusion of some music things started off very well only to be beaten by the amount of people wandering about the field -  and many of you stayed to the very end.
Of course my list of thank must start with everybody that helped on the Friday evening and Saturday morning to get things ready, to all the associations for putting together the usual high quality of floats and of course the PTFA committee. My biggest thanks go to all the villagers of Northwold. Your turning out made the day the best we have ever had, Most of you will probably know what the approximate amount of profit is already but for those of you who do not, we are at the sum of
2793.
This may increase a little over the next week or so but I will give a final total in the next issue.
The funds raised will go towards new furniture required in the school when the alterations are complete, so further information will be given about this also.
I thank you all for making my day.
